Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe / Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or Entebbe Airport.
Begin the scenic drive southwest through Uganda’s beautiful countryside—passing roadside markets, rolling tea plantations, and the equator monument for a brief photo stop.

Enjoy lunch en route in Mbarara before continuing to  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, check in, and enjoy dinner while taking in the misty forest views.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for your pre-trek briefing. You’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family and join a small group led by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

The trek can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once found, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour watching these incredible primates interact, feed, and care for one another—a moment that will stay with you forever.

After your trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate, return to the lodge for lunch, and spend the evening relaxing or taking a guided community walk to visit the Batwa pygmies or local markets (optional).

Day 3: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
