Detailed 1 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda Itinerary

06:00 AM – Departure from Kisoro
Your professional safari guide will meet you at your hotel or agreed pickup point in Kisoro. After a short briefing, you’ll drive to either Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Rushaga or Nkuringo Sector) or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, depending on permit allocation.
07:30 AM – Registration and Briefing at the Park Headquarters
Arrive at the park entrance for registration. You’ll join your ranger guide for a briefing on gorilla behavior, trekking guidelines, and forest safety. Porters are available for hire to help carry bags or assist on steep trails.
08:00 AM – Begin Gorilla Trekking
