Booking Terms and Conditions

To our esteemed clients or travelers that would like to Travel, Arrange or Reserve with us a SAFARI, we take this

opportunity to notify you on the Terms and Conditions governing the various range of products and services we

specialize in.

PAYMENTS

1 – All Safaris will be booked and confirmed only upon payment of a 50% deposit of the total package price unless otherwise specified by us.

2 – The balance for the package price should be paid upon arrival to commencement of the safari. However, when agreed on, the client may pay the balance upon arrival and before start of the Safari.

3 – A full (100%) gorilla permit fees advance payment is required to reserve a Gorilla permit.

4 – Bookings made within 30 days prior to commencement of safari MUST be fully paid once confirmation is made.

5 – We recommend that payments be made to our bank accounts and using the link provided  upon agreement with the client . Please note Bank charges are to be fully met by the client/s.

6 – Due to currency fluctuations and hotel price changes, Package prices are subjected to change without prior notice. Note that in-case of such when a client has already paid, he/she shall be requested to top up as per the increment or percentage levied.

7- In case payment is not done as indicated above , pieland gorilla safaris reserves every right to cancel the booking / reservation.

8- All payments must be paid in Dollars strictly unless an accord is made between the CLIENT and Us.

CANCELLATIONS

We recommend that in cases of cancellation, the client’s request should be done in writing and will be based on date of actual receipt by the company. Note that the company goes ahead to reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money refunded.

Please ALSO note that the following percentage charges apply as per date or period of request for cancellation:

1 – If you request to cancel in a period of 24/48 hours to commencement of safari, a 100% charge applies.

2 – If cancellation is requested in a period of 3/10 days to commencement of safari, a 75% charge applies.

3 – If cancellation is requested in a period of 11/29 days to commencement of safari, a 50% charge applies.

4 – If cancellation is requested in a period of 30/50 days to commencement of safari, a 30% charge applies.

5 – If cancellation is requested in a period of 51 days and above to commencement of safari, no charge applies.

WE reserve the right to change or cancel any safari package/ itinerary or destination and route included within the itinerary should it in the company’s sole be necessary. More so, Clients shall not claim for refund arising from such a decision.

REFUNDS

1 – Please note that Gorilla and Chimpanzee Permit Fees are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

2 – Refunds / claims will not be made to a No-Show , after the trip or unused services like accommodation by any of the tour member.

3 In cases of wrong bank transfer due to a client’s negligence on time of payment for the safari, pieland gorilla safaris reserves the right not to be involved.

4 – If the client misses out to do a given activity in the package or doesn’t do the safari due to an accident, illness or any other cause not that of the company, no refund is given.

RESERVATIONS

1 – Reservations should be made through our company email or inquiry form strictly. Other than that, the reservation/booking will be considered null and void.

2 – After payment of the required deposit from the client, we are to make the required reservations according to the Itinerary/package HOWEVER in case the reservation or service is not available, WE reserve the right to provide an alternative with in the same means or range.

3 – WE reserve the right to alter/cancel the reservation in cases of Bad weather, insecurity, disease outbreak, bad roads, Vehicle safety or any other circumstances that are beyond the company’s measure or control.

4 – In case of changes in the reservation/itinerary by the client, the company should be notified well in advance. Minus that, the company is not to be held liable for any expenses or outcome.

RESPONSIBILITY

1. Pieland gorilla safaris is not to be held liable whatsoever in cases of damage and loss of Client’s property or money during the safari arising from client’s negligence and carelessness.

2. The Company reserves the right to discontinue any client during the safari whose conduct may inconvenience or harm other clients, Staff, property or even the safari.

3 – The company also reserves the right to stop the safari if clients , or any of the clients doesn’t adhere to park regulations and rules during the safari.  The company also reseves the right to add or refuse  any complimentary activity / activities to the client upon request  or any agreement. Please note that once this decision is taken, there will be no claim for refund by any client whatsoever.

4 – It’s every client’s responsibility to carefully read the itinerary,  confirm the quoted price by  sending  the agreed  deposit, read brochures/fliers and even listen to the guides to avoid not being in line with the rest while on Safari.

5 – It is the responsibility of the clients to take proper medical precautions in regard to health. Health information on destinations and Medical advice should be sought in advance before traveling.

6 – It’s the client’s responsibility to obtain Visas, have a valid passport, Insurance or the necessary required documents for travel to any country before He or she can travel. Alternatively seek advice from your travel agency or tour operator.

7 – Clients are expected to respect and follow laws of the country while on Safari. Other than that, one risks

being charged in accordance to the constitution.

8 – Tour Vehicles’ Insurance and mechanical condition is the responsibility of Pieland gorilla safaris In

cases of breakdown, the company shall provide alternate means of transport to continue with your safari.

9 – It’s the client’s responsibility to clearly specify the type of accommodation required i.e. Single/double/Twin occupancy or family type. The company does not take responsibility in wrong room availability.
